Bully Busters is a program aimed to helping educators recognize bullying and prevent violence. It focuses on:
Increasing awareness of bullying behaviors
Recognizing all involved
Addressing bullying behaviors and those targeted
Role of prevention
Teaching relaxation and coping skills
Program goals include:
Increasing student exposure to strong social role models
Reducing exposure to aggressive behaviors
Creating more positive school climate
Providing material to help facilitate classroom discussions that help students understand the factors and consequences associated with problematic social interactions
Social skills needed for conflict resolution
Tier 1, Grades K-8, Bullying/Violence Prevention
